It all happened one ordinary day when Abu was out with a friend (also in a wheelchair), who captured the entire scene on camera.

Abu noticed the distressed kitten struggling to stay above water, trapped and terrified. Without a second thought, he carefully slid out of his wheelchair and began to shuffle down the steep, grassy bank, determined to save the little life.

The rescue wasn’t easy. As Abu reached the edge of the drain, he realized he was too far from the kitten.

He repositioned himself and tried again, this time successfully extending his arm down to gently grab the kitten. Desperate to escape the water, the tiny creature scrambled up as Abu reached for it.

With remarkable patience and care, Abu finally managed to pull the kitten up from the storm drain, placing it safely on the grass.

But his act of kindness wasn’t over yet. To return to his wheelchair, Abu had to rely on his arms, leaving the rescued kitten temporarily on the ground.
