This Stray Cat Wouldn’t Leave A Man’s Side Until He Finally Adopted Him

One day, Nick Guertin went camping and woke up really early to go to the bathroom. However, he had no idea what was about to happen.

As soon as he opened his tent, a little orange cat suddenly ran up to him and jumped right inside, waiting patiently for him to come back.

When Nick returned to the tent, the cat snuggled up to him and made himself super cozy. The cat started kneading on him, bumping his head against Nick, and purring loudly. It felt like they had been friends forever.

After that first snuggle, Nick wondered if the cat would come back again. But sure enough, the little guy returned.

In the days that followed, the cat started hanging out with Nick a lot. He kept Nick company by the campfire while he cooked and inside the tent.

Even though Nick usually liked dogs more and didn’t know much about cats, this cute little cat was so friendly that he began to change Nick’s mind.

It felt like a scene from a Disney movie, and everyone agreed that Nick and the cat were meant to be together.

However, Nick wanted to make sure the cat didn’t already belong to someone. But, it was tough to figure out because the cat looked healthy and seemed comfortable around people, but he wasn’t wearing a collar.

To find out more, Guertin asked a neighbor if they knew anything about the cat. The neighbor told him that the cat was actually a young stray who had been roaming the neighborhood since he was born.

Once Guertin made sure that the small cat was in search of a home, and he felt compelled to help. So, he figured the best thing to do was to grab some snacks, adopt him, and name him Camper.

Now, Nick’s camping trip turned into an unexpected journey when he found this new furry friend. But, he wouldn’t trade that experience for anything! After all, who could say no to such a cute little cat?
